Character Name: Yukina
Nickname(s): Yuki
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Race: Daemon Shapeshifter

She's quick to judge people when she first meets them, and it takes a while for them to prove her assumptions wrong, if they are. Since her life is so unpredictable she has a hard exterior and believes that she is the most independent of anyone that she knows.
Likes: Dancing, traveling, water, and her dragon form
Dislikes: Darkness, the cold, and singing
Strengths/Abilities: Shapechange - Yuki has the command to change between her human form and her dragon form, which she picked to be her permanent animal form.
Aquatalk - Yuki hears the words of the water, and can speak in it's tongue...commanding it to do things for her. It's her natural ability.
Weaknesses: Fire makes her really weak and she gets frightened around it easily. Also, she has a soft spot for children.
History: Like all Daemon's, Yuki was born as a human baby, only to change when she was at a young age. She had no parents, or well, they had been hung by King Desera for performing in his alleyways to his poor people. Instead, she grew up in the slums of Agon, where the players lived and thrived in their own way. She was taken in by the players and was tossed from hand to hand when she was little learning a little of every trade. She was a graceful little child and one that was able to adapt to any situation, but the art that she liked the most was dancing.
When she was 7, she became an apprentice to the best female dancer in the players. She was both beautiful and fierce in her art, and she never took a husband. Yuki learned everything from that woman, and she was a fast learner at that. Though, when she turned 10 and began to perform for the crowds, she started to change shape. She could change into any animal that she could think of, and tended to take the form of graceful animals. Her most common form was that of a water dragon. She wowed the crowd, and soon was invited to the Prince of Agon's secret fortress to dance only for him.
She fell in love with him. He was goregeous and righteous. She wanted to be his forever, and shared many of his ideals on how he lead his people. She knew that he loved her dragon form and the way she could gracefully twist her body to dance for him, so when she turned 14 and had to chose an animal form to shift to permanently, she chose that of her dragon, the form that both her and the prince loved. She also knew that he liked singing, especially songs that were about him, which many scribes wrote for his praise. She learned to sing, and sung him songs that she had commisioned in his name.
When she was 16, she was sure that their love had been made official and the prince loved her too. She told him in a verse that she wrote herself, confessing her love for him. Instead...he rejected her, and she was heartbroken. After that, she traveled on and continued to travel. She wouldn't let herself become attached again. She learned what it was like to be a real player, and now only dances for the commonfolk, knowing that they would never let her down. She denies all invitations to the Prince's fortress, and denies even the king of Illona the pleasure of watching her dance for him privately.
